Sora2U is the resource hub for AI video creators. We compare every major model (Veo 3, Kling, Sora 2, Seedance, Luma), maintain a multi-platform prompt library, document post-production workflows, and run the most-cited Sora shutdown migration guide.

Is Sora still available in 2026?

No. OpenAI discontinued Sora on April 26, 2026. The web app and mobile app are offline. The Sora API ends on September 24, 2026. Existing users should export their data and migrate to alternatives before the cutoff.

What are the best Sora alternatives in 2026?

Google Veo 3 is the closest spiritual successor on cinematic quality with native audio. Seedance 2.0 is best for character dialog and multi-shot consistency. Kling Video v3 offers the best price-to-performance. Sora 2 and Luma are the strongest options.

Veo 3 vs Seedance vs Kling vs Sora 2 — which one should I pick?

Pick Veo 3 if you want the closest match to late-stage Sora cinematic quality with native audio. Pick Sora 2 if you need high-fidelity OpenAI cinematic generations. Pick Seedance 2.0 if you need dialogue scenes with multi-character lip-sync (industry-first unified audio-video). Pick Kling Video v3 if you want the best $/second ratio and fast generation for social content.

What is Seedance 2.0 and how does it differ from Veo 3?

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's February 2026 AI video model. It is the first to ship true unified audio-video joint generation — audio and lip movement come from a single model pass, with phoneme-level lip-sync across 8+ languages. Compared to Veo 3, Seedance accepts up to 12 multimodal reference assets per generation and excels at dialogue scenes, but is currently not available in the United States and caps clips at 15 seconds.

Which AI video tool has the best free tier?

Pika Labs and Luma Dream Machine both keep generous free tiers. Pika is best for stylized and animation content; Luma offers the smoothest motion for realistic clips. Neither matches Veo 3 on top-end fidelity but both are remarkable for $0 per month.

How do I migrate Sora prompts to Veo 3 or Kling?

Sora prompts do not paste cleanly into other tools. Veo 3 wants explicit camera language (focal length, dolly direction). Seedance prefers shorter scene descriptors. Kling rewards structured prompts (subject / action / environment / style). Luma keeps the closest grammar to late-stage Sora — least migration work.

What is the best AI video prompt structure?

Follow this universal structure: [Camera movement] + [Subject description] + [Action] + [Setting/Environment] + [Lighting/Mood] + [Style reference]. Adjust verbosity per platform — Veo 3 likes detail, Seedance likes brevity, Kling likes structure.

How do I remove watermarks from AI-generated videos legally?

Use legal post-processing options: cropping, masking in video editors (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro), AI-based inpainting tools, or dedicated watermark removal software. Always respect each tool's terms of service and copyright when distributing processed videos.

What is the best AI video upscaler in 2026?

For paid options, Topaz Video AI remains the gold standard for upscaling and motion enhancement. For free options, FFmpeg with super-resolution filters can do solid 2x. We document the full workflow including settings for clips from Veo 3, Kling, Sora 2, Seedance and Luma.

Is Sora2U affiliated with OpenAI, Google or Kling?

No. Sora2U is independent and not affiliated with any AI video vendor. All tool reviews are hands-on. Some links are affiliate links, which are clearly disclosed on every page that contains them.
